Industry Engagement

• Strong engagement, including invited interviews and DEI presentations with the leadership of Stryker, Johnson & Johnson, Zimmer Biomet & Smith & Nephew - locally, regionally and internationally.

• Contributed to developing industry funding of USD 125,000 funding for the IODA to promote global orthopaedic healthcare equity initiatives.

• Negotiated and delivered high-value, multi-year contract for the IODA international orthopaedic mentorship program platform to support women and under-represented minorities into orthopaedic surgery.

International Orthopaedic Assocation Engagement

• Founded the organisation by bringing together over 40 members from 30 nations.

• Contributed to negotiation for over 45 international orthopaedic associations to sign the IODA Charter, a commitment to improve equity in orthopaedic care, globally.

• Grew membership from zero to 2000 from over 100 nations.

• Developed and delivered collaborative webinars across all 6 global regions.

• Supported and engaged with 30 + orthopaedic diversity societies across the globe.

• Established social media channels and built followership to >10,000. 

• Developed membership newsletter with over 50% open rate by membership. 

• Met with global orthopaedic association and industry leaders virtually and in-person around the world.

• Delivered invited presentations on healthcare equity in orthopaedics in by orthopaedic associations in Australia, Argentina, Denmark, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, United Kingdom and USA.
